Closest airports are Pisa (2½ hrs), Florence (2 hrs) & Rome (2½ hrs) where a car (essential) can be picked up. The house is very accessible with dual carriageway (autostrade and autostrada) until the last 15km. There is a new Ryanair service from Stansted to Perugia (45 minutes).

Approx distances to places of interest: Assisi 75km, Orvietto 62km, Perugia 57km, Montepulciano 20km, Cortona 30km, Pienza 32km, Arezzo 63km, Siena 75km. Good rail connections for day trips to Rome and Florence (2hrs) from Castiglione del Lago station (5 mins drive with free and easy parking).
